This is a hands-on workshop designed for photographers ready to learn off-camera flash. We'll cover studio strobes, light modifiers, camera settings, and how to work creatively with models.

No! This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed for photographers who want to build confidence with off-camera flash. Some basic camera knowledge and comfort shooting in manual mode is recommended.
A digital camera is required. A DSLR or mirrorless camera with manual settings is recommended so you can adjust your exposure and learn studio techniques.
A portrait lens is recommended (such as a 50mm, 85mm, or 24–70mm), but bring whatever lens you’re comfortable using.
No! All studio strobes, modifiers, and lighting equipment will be provided. Just bring your camera, lens, and SD cards.
Yes! Each participant will have hands-on shooting time with two styled models and the opportunity to practice different lighting setups.
This is a small-group workshop with a maximum of 6 participants. This way everyone gets plenty of shooting time and instruction.
The focus of this workshop is studio lighting. We’ll spend our time together building confidence with lighting setups, camera settings, and creating strong images in camera.
